Cranberry-pear sauce
1 bag of fresh cranberries (picked over and rinsed for quality control)
3 ripe Bartlett pears (1 ½ lbs. peeled, quartered, cored and cut into ½ inch chunks)
2/3 cup sugar
½ cup dried cherries
Mix all ingredients into a medium sized pot on the stove. Over medium high heat, Stir frequently, and cook until berries pop and mixture is bubbly and thick. Cooking time varies but it usually takes about ten minutes.
Let cool, refrigerate, and serve chilled with turkey and fixin’s! Enjoy.
